Our innovations in women’s healthcare technology and breast cancer imaging are revolutionizing early disease detection.
3D Breast CT is designed to complement mammography and provide answers when more clarity is needed.
Targeted follow-up — a next step when mammogram results are unclear or abnormal
Alternative to mammography — especially for women with dense breast tissue, implants, or who can’t tolerate compression
Treatment planning support — provides a full 3D view to guide biopsies and track therapy response
Confidence for both patient and physician — clearer answers, faster decisions, and peace of mind in the next step of care
All breast CT scans will require a physician order. If you don’t already have one, we’ll connect you with a physician in our referral network.
Once your referral is in place, you’ll be able to select a convenient time and location in Southern California. Our team will also confirm prior imaging so your visit is seamless.
We are committed to making early detection breast imaging more accessible. Scans will be priced at $499, with promotional rates between $389–$449. For patients paying out of pocket, costs may be reimbursed through insurance or covered by FSA/HSA accounts. Soon, we will accept insurance directly, helping reduce financial barriers and making this service available to even more women.
Your scan will be read by a board-certified radiologist and securely shared with you and your physician, typically within days.
Unlike traditional mammograms, our technology delivers:
True 360° 3D imaging – every angle, every detail, nothing hidden behind overlapping tissue
Zero compression – a comfortable, dignified scan in just 10 seconds per breast
Safer precision – FDA-approved, with radiation levels comparable to a standard mammogram, and 50% less during biopsy
Smart versatility – a scan without contrast, for patients with implants, and even to track how breast cancer responds to treatment
3D Breast CT is intended as a complement to mammography, not a replacement. Physicians may recommend it for women who:
Have abnormal mammogram findings and need further evaluation
Carry BRCA1/BRCA2 gene mutations or other genetic syndromes
Have a history of chest radiation before age 30
Present with palpable lumps, nipple changes, or focal pain
Have dense breast tissue or implants where mammography may be limited
This scan provides added clarity for patients who need answers sooner, and for physicians making critical next-step decisions in care.
At Gnosis for Her, our mobile 3D Breast CT helps bridge the gap when mammography alone isn’t enough. It can be used as a safe, non-compression option for patients who:
Require six-month follow-up imaging (BI-RADS 3)
Have biopsy-proven benign masses or densities that need monitoring
Experience swelling, thickening, or persistent breast pain
Are non-compliant with compression mammography due to discomfort
By bringing advanced diagnostic imaging directly to the community, we ensure women at higher risk, or with more complex histories, receive the precise imaging they deserve, without added barriers.
Your scan is only the beginning. With Gnosis for Her, results are delivered quickly and explained clearly, so you and your physician have the information you need without delay. Whether it’s educational resources, suggested next steps for further evaluation, or simply peace of mind, our team ensures you feel informed, supported, and never left in the dark.

gnosis /no-sis/ n. from the Greek term meaning “knowledge through experience,” “known” or “to know.” Gnosis for Her puts women at the forefront of women’s health. From the moment you schedule your appointment to your first steps inside our comforting and thoughtfully designed mobile care unit — it’s all with you in mind.
Koning Vera produces high-contrast, true 3D images with exceptional spatial resolution. This improves how clinicians evaluate breast tissue, while giving patients a more comfortable experience—no compression required, faster scans, and fewer patient recalls. It also saves time and streamlines workflow.
It’s a dedicated breast CT system that creates isotropic 3D images of the breast. It can be used for diagnostic imaging and 3D-guided biopsies, with or without contrast dye. The system is built in the USA.
Yes. Radiation exposure is comparable to a standard 2D mammogram and fully adheres to Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) limits. For biopsies, Koning Vera uses about 50% less radiation than traditional stereotactic methods.
Yes. The Koning Vera has received FDA Premarket Approval (PMA) for both breast CT and 3D guided biopsy—this is the highest level of FDA clearance for medical devices.
Gnosis for Her currently offers the service as self-pay, with FSA/HSA reimbursement eligible. However, we are working toward broader insurance coverage. As of January 2021, the American Medical Association assigned six dedicated CPT codes for Breast CT, now being accepted by many payers.
Gnosis for Her is available in California through our mobile breast imaging unit. Patients can schedule appointments at the community locations where our mobile clinic is stationed each week.
We are planning to expand with additional mobile units and locations in the future, making this technology more widely accessible.
Not yet. Currently, Koning Vera is used for diagnostic imaging after a screening mammogram. However, a clinical trial is underway for screening use, with approval anticipated in 2026.
